Neil Warnock’s hopes of making changes in the wake of the midweek capitulation to Nottingham Forest is restricted by injury, though Alex Bruce was available but there was no Andy O’Brien despite coming through 45 minutes for the reserves this week.
Maik Taylor was granted permission to play after joining the Lions from Leeds on loan until the end of the season.
Ross McCormack broke the deadlock to score for Leeds, before Andy Lonergan thwarted Darius Henderson from the penalty spot.
