Captain Roberts set to miss out

The Shaymen could be without captain Marc Roberts who was ruled out of England C’s game on Tuesday with an ankle injury which makes the defender a doubt for today.

The hosts’ main attacking weapon will be forward Harry Beautyman, who scored for England C at the Shay in midweek.

The young striker has scored 11 goals this season for The Wings.

The Shaymen will be looking to climb back into the play-off places after dropping out of the top five at the weekend for the first time this season, whereas Welling’s pressing need is for points to move away from the relegation zone.

Despite their lowly position, only Barnet have triumphed at Park View Road this season.

Midfielder Josh Wilson has joined Vanarama North high-fliers AFC Fylde on loan for a month.

The former England C international has already had a loan spell at former club Guiseley earlier this season.
