FC Halifax’s FA Cup dream is over after they lost 4-1 at League One MK Dons in the first round on Saturday.
The part-timers from the Conference were only a goal behind at the break after the first of two Izale McLeod strikes.
But his second on 70 minutes made it 3-0 after Shaun Williams had scored from the spot.
Lee Gregory gave the travelling Shaymen something to shout about 12 minutes from the end with a crisp, right-foot shot.
Brendan Galloway put the seal on the Dons’ win in stoppage time.
