DESPITE suffering a heartbreaking, final-day relegation from the National League, FC Halifax Town were able to give their fans plenty to cheer about on Sunday when they beat Grimsby Town 1-0 in the FA Trophy Final at Wembley.

A 48th-minute stunner from Scott McManus was enough to see Jim Harvey’s team lift the silverware on their first-eveer visit to the national stadium.
