Blades snap up Arsenal defender
Sheffield United have today completed the loan signing of young defender Kyle Bartley from Arsenal.
Bartley (19) played in all eight matches on the way to Arsenal's victory in last season's FA Youth Cup, scoring goals at Quarter-Final and Semi-Final stage.
The imposing centre-back was also part of the Gunners' Academy League winning squad last season.
Having joined Arsenal from Bolton in 2007, the teenager signed professional terms with the Club last summer.
Bartley made his first-team debut this season, being named in the starting line-up in the UEFA Champions League away match against Olympiacos in December. He was also on the substitutes' bench for all three Carling Cup matches this season and the FA Cup Fourth Round match at Stoke City.
Bartley, who was named Reserve team Captain this season, will stay on loan at Bramall Lane until 12th May 2010.
