Premier League

Man City v Hull

Team news: Jimmy Bullard is back in contention for Hull.

The influential midfielder, sidelined for most of the year with a knee injury, was rested for the midweek win over Everton. Forward Craig Fagan (rib) is also fit again and Bernard Mendy is available after suspension.

Midfielder Seyi Olofinjana (hamstring) is again missing but could come back into contention next week.

West Ham v Burnley

Team news: Burnley manager Owen Coyle is pondering selecting the same starting XI for the fifth consecutive Premier League match. The 11th-placed Clarets travel to east London for the contest against West Ham with a settled side and no major injury concerns. Burnley's absentees are due to long-term problems with midfielder Chris McCann and forwards Jay Rodriguez and Martin Paterson all scheduled for a return around Christmas.

Championship

Bristol City v Sheff Utd

Team news: United are without Henri Camara (hamstring) but have on-loan Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme and Fulham centre-half Toni Kallio available. Derek Geary and Gary Naysmith have encountered slight niggles on their way back from long-term knee injuries, while Lee Williamson and Ched Evans face late tests due to illness. Darius Henderson has served a suspension and Nick Montgomery (knee) and Richard Cresswell (ribs) may play.

Nottm Forest v Doncaster

Team news: Captain and playmaker Martin Woods returns for Rovers after a one-match ban while Adam Lockwood (foot), Adam Shackell and Byron Webster (elbow) are available after long-term injuries. Aston Villa loanee Nicky Shorey is in the Forest squad.

Peterborough v Middlesbrough

Team news: Boro boss Gordon Strachan hopes captain Gary O'Neil (groin) will be available. Utility man Rhys Williams, used at right-back in last weekend's draw with Nottingham Forest, is banned but central defender Chris Riggott is closing in on a senior return after recovering from a second bout of ankle surgery.

Plymouth Argyle v Barnsley

Team news: An illness bug has swept through the camp which means Mark Robins will delay his team selection. Darren Moore (toe) returned to training on Thursday and could return. Iain Hume (thigh) and Hugo Colace (shin) have trained off the knocks they received aginst Cardiff and should feature.

Sheff Weds v West Brom

Team news: Wednesday's new loan signings Warren Feeney and Tom Soares are expected to go straight into the squad. Tommy Miller is still struggling with a hamstring problem, while striker Francis Jeffers is hoping to overcome an ankle injury sustained in the reserves.

FA Cup 2nd round

Cambridge v York City

Team news: Top scorer Richard Brodie returns after serving a one-game suspension in midweek to lead the York attack, while defender Djoumin Sangare is also available again. Right-back Ben Purkiss is, however, out with a chest problem as the Minstermen look to better their 2-2 draw against Cambridge when the sides met in October at Bootham Crescent.

Kettering v Leeds United, Sunday 1.45

Team news: Max Gradel is forced to sit out tomorrow's second round tie after parent club Leicester City refused the winger permission to play. Sam Vokes is also missing after Wolves did the same, though Tony Capaldi could go straight into the side after joining on loan from Cardiff City.

Port Vale v Huddersfield

Team news: Robbie Simpson and Daniel Drinkwater remain the only injury casualties with thigh problems as Town return to FA Cup action looking to earn a place in the third round for only the third time in eight years. Lee Clark was critical of his side's defending in the midweek defeat to Swindon Town but may stick with the same side.

Rotherham v Luton

Team news: Ronnie Moore has been rocked by news that Andy Liddell and Paul Warne are out until after Christmas. Liddell, 36, is to have surgery on an Achilles injury and is out for six weeks. Warne (ankle) is out until the New Year.
