Feeney had a medical at Elland Road yesterday, and the Northern Ireland international is set to pen a contract today.

Feeney began his career at Elland Road before leaving the club i 2001 having never made a start for the senior team.

He has scored five goals in 31 internationals for Northern Ireland.

But Frazer Richardson has left the club, after the contract of Leeds's longest-serving player expired.

The Rotherham-born 26-year-old, who made 173 senior appearances after coming up through the club's academy, is now a free agent and in the market for a new club.
