HUDDERSFIELD Town manager Stan Ternent is running the rule over former Sheffield United goalkeeper Paul Gerrard and ex-Everton midfielder Tony Grant.
Hull City manager Phil Brown has opened talks with Wigan Athletic striker Marlon King over a possible move to the KC Stadium.
The two clubs have agreed an undisclosed fee for the Jamaican international who has spent only six months with Wigan after a 4m move from Watford.
The Tigers remain in talks with German club Borussia Dortmund over a fee for South African winger Delron Buckley who has impressed on trial.

Former Barnsley goalkeeper Nick Colgan is training with Scunthorpe United after failing to land a deal at Valley Parade and the Bantams are now looking at former Blackpool goalkeeper Rhys Evans.
