Leeds United run rule over Spanish trialist
LEEDS UNITED manager Gary McAllister is weighing up a move for Argentinian striker Luciano Becchio who is on trial from Spanish side Merida.
Becchio, 24, has received international clearance to play in tonight's friendly against Shelbourne. He scored 28 goals in 50 appearances for Merida but failed to make an impact at Barcelona and Real Mallorca.
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy has told midfielder Seyi Olofinjana that he will not stand in the way of a proposed move to Hull City.
Wolves manager McCarthy said: "I have an agreement with him (Olofinjana). He's a Premier League player and if he gets the opportunity, he can go. I'd love him to stay but he'll end up going."
Rotherham United have signed striker Reuben Reid, 19, on a two-year deal following his release by Plymouth Argyle.
