Sheffield Wednesday close in on West Ham prospect
SHEFFIELD Wednesday manager Brian Laws will hold talks this week with West Ham United striker Freddie Sears about a season-long loan.
"We are in with a shout of signing Freddie but there are other clubs interested in him too," said Laws.
"He is currently on holiday but we will meet up again when he gets back."
Peterborough thought they had secured the loan signature of the promising striker but it is believed West Ham want him to join the Owls.
