Yeovil Town v Leeds United :Kilkenny back in fold as McAllister refuses to panic
GARY MCALLISTER insists no-one at Leeds United is panicking despite last week's surprise defeat at home to Oldham.
After beating much-fancied Scunthorpe on the opening day and then thrashing League Two Chester City three days later, much had been expected of United ahead of their season's bow at Elland Road a week ago.
However, for the second season running, the Latics left Leeds with all three points after a distinctly ordinary performance from the hosts.
Despite that, McAllister remains confident his squad has what it takes to mount a serious promotion challenge. He said: "Everyone was disappointed with the performance and it is now a case of getting that result out of our system. But we have only played two games so there is no panic and no crisis.
"It was a performance I am not happy with and we want to get a winning sequence going again quickly."
McAllister is unlikely to make too many changes, adamant that the players who took to the field against Oldham have the character to bounce back.
He will have Neil Kilkenny available after the Australian's return from the Olympics where he was part of the Socceroos squad. Kilkenny watched the Oldham game but was not involved due to having missed pre-season.
