In League One, it seems only a matter of time before Sheffield United are finally returned to the second tier after six years at their current level, manager Chris Wilder having guided them to top spot and 10 points clear of third spot.

Bradford City – in Stuart McCall’s second stint as manager – are also in the mix, currently sitting fourth in the standings and just three points off second place.

And in League Two it is only a matter of time before Darren Ferguson seal a return to League One at the first attempt.
