Rotherham United 5 Port Vale 0: Law leads way for Millers

Rotherham United returned to League Two action after the big freeze when they hammered Port Vale at Don Valley Stadium today.

Winger Chris Arthur was not included in the Millers squad despite signing a two-month deal.

Captain Ryan Cresswell is still sidelined with a broken collarbone.

Vale included midfielder Gary Roberts who was released by the Millers last season following a breach of club discipline.

Nicky Law lashed the Millers in front after just 10 minutes, before Marcus Marshall crossed and Ryan Taylor headed home

Things got worse for the visitors when goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson was red carded.

Will Atkinson grabbed a third in the 46th minute to put the Millers in control, before Taylor and Mark Randall (85) added to the tally.
