The Millers made one change from the side which lst at Bradford City last weekend.

Joe Mattock dropped out, as he serves his suspension for his Valley Parade red card, Ben Purrington coming into the defence.

Winger jon Taylor was first to threaten for the Millers, he run deep from his own half, finally ending with a fierce shot-cum-cross which fizzed across John Ruddy’s goal.

The Oldham keeper was called into action to tip away Ben Purrington’s long-range effort, but the opening goal came from the resulting corner.

Keiffer Moore’s header hit the crossbar, but defender Michael Ihiekwe was alert to knock in the rebound.
