ROTHERHAM UNITED have signed goalkeeper Scott Loach on a two-year deal following his release by Ipswich Town.
The 26-year-old former Watford custodian, who spent a loan spell earlier in his career with Bradford, will move subject to Football League clearance.
He struggled for games last season after losing his place to Tractor Boys number one by Dean Gerken and started 27 games for the East Anglians.
Millers manager Steve Evans said: “Scott has made over 150 starts for Watford in The Championship, so he has great experience at this level.
“He has played under the likes of the excellent Malky Mackay and Brendan Rodgers and they are two individuals who know a player when they see one.”
Loach is the Millers’ second signing following last Friday’s capture of forward Matt Derbyshire.
