Rotherham United

Marek Rodak 6: The goalkeeper had very little to do, his handling of crosses was suspect at times, but had no chance with Oldham’s opening goal.

Will Vaulks 7: The stand-in right-back bolted up and down the wing, and did well against Oldham’s tricky winger Gevaro Nepomuceno.

Richard Wood 7: Not an easy afternoon for the experienced centre-half against Craig Davies, and he will have had quieter days at work.

Michael Ihiekwe 8: Impressed at the heart of Rotherham’s defence, and netted in the first half.

Ben Purrington 8: Was unlucky not to score in the first half with a long-range effort, and Joe Mattock will have a battle for the left-back spot when he returns from suspension.

Jon Taylor 7: Lively on the left wing, and put in some terrific crosses which deserved better. Had a ‘goal’ ruled out in the second half due to offisde.

Lee Frecklington 6: United’s captain netted a hat-trick against Walsall, and should have found the target here, but blasted over when well set, before firing wide after break when well set.

Darren Potter 7: Steadying influence in midfield, Potter has built his career and playing simple balls and retaining possession. More of the same here.

Richie Towell 7: Worked hard in Rotherham’s midfielder, a grafter next to Potter’s cultured approach.

BANG: Rotherham's Jerry Yates makes it 5-1.

Ryan Williams 7: The pony-tailed No 23 was Rotherham’s creative force, looking to pick the ball up in the spaces, and seek out an opening. Helped create the second, decisive goal.

Keiffer Moore 9: His header hit the crossbar, when created the Millers’ first goal, and the club’s top scorer looks a real handful for League One defences. Deserved his two goals.
