Rotherham United have signed striker Leon Best on a deal until the end of the season.
The move is subject to clearance from the FA and the Football League.
Best was released by Blackburn Rovers this summer after spending the previous year and a half out on loan.
Last season, the 29-year-old spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Derby County, before joining Brighton and Hove Albion for the remainder. He failed to score a single goal in the league for either side.
The former Newcastle United striker, who scored 10 times in 42 appearances for the Magpies, has struggled since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in 2012, and will be looking to revitalise his career at Rotherham.
