Millers leave it late to post all three points

ROTHERHAM United strengthened their push for a League Two automatic promotion place with a last-gasp 1-0 success at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

The game at the division’s struggling hosts appeared to be heading for a goalless draw but the Millers had other ideas and sealed the contest with a stroke of luck 11 minutes from time.

Substitute Kieran Agard headed goalwards and the ball cannoned off the post and then off the back of ‘keeper Neil Sullivan’s head for the only goal of the game.
