Sheffield United put together back-to-back League One wins to pull away from the relegation zone.
Goals from Jpohn Brayford, Ryan Flynn and Jose Baxter secured a vital three points at Bramall Lane, coming hot on the heels of the midweek win at Gillingham.
Brayford netted first when he got on the end of Harry Maguire’s flick-on, before midfielder Flynn doubled the advantage.
Baxter sealed victory with a penalty after Karleigh Osborne brought down Flynn.
“The result was exactly what we wanted following on from Gillingham in the week. It’s two big results for us,” said Blades coach Chris Morgan.
“The two results this week have come through hard work and playing some good stuff, particularly today.
“The manager was conscious that the lads have been going at it really hard. We knew we had to change it up.
“To be fair to the gaffer since he’s come in, whatever formation we’ve played - whichever players we’ve used - he’s hammered across to them what he wants.
“The players have took that on and been excellent, so the ones that come in know exactly what’s wanted.”
