Sheffield Wednesday have signed two players in the emergency loan market this morning.
The Owls have snapped up striker Leon Best on a one-month deal from Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers.
And they have also acquired Chelsea full-back Sam Hutchinson.
Best, 27, has had two previous loan spells with the Owls and will remain at Hillsborough until March 12. He has been cleared to play in the Owls’ FA Cup fifth-round tie at home to Charlton Athletic tomorrow.
Head coach Stuart Gray has also added Hutchinson, 24, to his defensive options. The former England Under-19s defender can play either right-back or centre-back and has previous loan deals at Nottingham Forest and Vitesse Arnham.
