Exeter City 2 Sheffield Wednesday 1: Megson blasts his Owls flops

Gary Megson saw Sheffield Wednesday crash to a League One defeat at Exeter City.
Winger Jermaine Johnson returned for the Owls after being rested for the FA Cup. Defender Miguel Llera, midfielder John Bostock were also back after being cup-tied. Julian Bennett deputised for left-back Reda Johnson who started a two-game ban.
Neither side could find the net in a scoreless first 45 minutes.
But hen conjured up two goals in three minutes.
First Jermaine Johnson netted on 65 minutes for the Owls, before Billy Jones replied with a free kick.
Then David Noble grabbed a winner from another set piece for the hosts.
“We are looking nowhere near the side we were four weeks ago and that has to change,” blasted an unhappy Owls boss Gary Megson.
“These players are paid a lot of money for this level.
“Now they need to shape themselves.”
