International break comes at right time for Sheffield Wednesday - Morgan Fox

Sheffield Wednesday went down to their second successive loss in a 2-0 home reverse to Reading on Friday night, but remain in sixth place by virtue of Fulham's shock home defeat.

Despite relief at developments at Craven Cottage, Wednesday’s run of just one victory in their last six league matches represents a real concern, with left-back Morgan Fox admitting that the latest international break has arrived at a timely juncture to enable the players to ‘clear our heads’ ahead of a pivotal April, which starts with successive derbies at Barnsley and Rotherham United.

On the break, Fox said: “I think it has come at a good time. We have a lot of injuries and boys carrying knocks as well, so we can get them sorted out and clear our heads. It has come at a great time.

“We can have a bit of down-time as well and get the legs back and go again.

“It is the business end of the season and we know that. We will take the break now and we will definitely regroup during it and come back stronger.”
