Sheffield Wednesday have signed Romanian striker Sergiu Bus, Manchester United full-back Marnick Vermijl and Watford’s Lewis McGugan on a busy deadline day at Hillsborough.
Romanian frontman Bus has joined Wednesday on a three-and-a-half year deal from CSKA Sofia.
Bus, 22, has scored 10 goals in 19 games for Bulgarian league leaders CSKA.
Owls boss Stuart Gray said: “He can stick the ball in the back of the net, that is for sure.
“That’s why we have brought him into the football club. We know we need to strengthen and Sergiu is a great addition.
“He’s got energy, hunger, he wants to get into the full international side but most important, he can score goals.
“Hopefully, the boy will hit the ground running.”
Vermilj, 23, is a Belgian right-back who has joined on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
And former Owls loanee Lewis McGugan, of Watford, has rejoined the club on loan until the end of the season.
