Leeds United are being linked to another raid on head coach Garry Monk’s former club Swansea with striker Marvin Emnes the latest to be mentioned as a possible transfer target.

The Dutch striker is in the final year of his contract at Swansea City and has struggled to hold down a regular place since joining from Middlesbrough.

Monk has already taken Swans defender Kyle Bartley to Elland Road on a one-year deal.

Sheffield Wednesday have been told they need to stump up £15m if they are to prise Ross McCormack away from Fulham.

The Owls are understood to have bid £12m for the former Leeds United front man, but now must increase that offer if they are to land him.

Dean Hammond has left Sheffield United after a settlement was agreed.

Hammond was one of former manager Nigel Adkins marquee signings last summer but has now been moved on by the Blades after only a year.

New manager Chris Wilder said: “There’s been a lot of talk about the situation and I’m sure all parties will be happy that it has been resolved.”

Hull City lead the race for Tottenham Hotspur’s Ryan Mason.

Stoke City have also been linked to the £10m-rated 25-year-old midfielder.

Middlesbrough are set to complete a 14 million euros deal for Dutch midfielder Marten de Roon on Monday.

Boro have agreed personal terms on a four-year deal for the midfield enforcer, who joins from Atalanta.
