1987: Born January 11, 1987, Sheffield.

2002: Released by Sheffield Wednesday’s academy.

2003: Joins Stocksbridge Park Steels at the age of 16.

2007: Makes his Stocksbridge debut under manager Gary Marrow, his first senior appearance. Scored 66 goals in 107 league appearances for the Steels.

2010: Moves to FC Halifax Town in June for a fee of £15,000. Makes Halifax debut on August 21, 2010, scoring the winning goal in a 2-1 victory.

2011: Succeeds in his first season with the Shaymen. Tops the goal-scoring charts with 26 goals and is voted ‘Players’ Player of the Season’. Scores three goals in the opening four games of the next campaign.Signs for Fleetwood Town for an undisclosed fee on August 26, 2011. Goes on to score 31 goals in 36 league games for the Cod Army, making him top scorer in the league.

2012: Snapped up by Leicester City for £1m on May 17.

2013: Struggles in his first season. Considers quitting the game. Has mind changed by manager Nigel Pearson.

2014: Hits form in his second campaign, scoring 16 times as Leicester win promotion.

2015: Earns first England cap on June 7 against Republic of Ireland.

2016: His goals keep Leicester City on course for a probable and unlikely Premier League title and he scores for England against Germany and Holland.
