York started the game sloppily and fell behind after Penn gave the ball away. Padraig Amond picked out Aaron Wildig and his low shot was diverted past goalkeeper Michael Ingham by an alert Mullin from six yards.

York responded with efforts from Shaun Miller and Jake Hyde, that were both dragged wide, before Zubar levelled the scores.

The on-loan Bournemouth defender climbed high at the far post to head in Luke Summerfield’s left-wing corner. York kicked off the second half in a much more determined mood with Hyde seeing a header cleared off the line, before Penn made amends with a powerful 35-yard drive.
