Boreham Wood 1 York City 1: Minstermen extend unbeaten run
Boreham Wood held York City to a stalemate in the National League at Meadow Park.
Amari Morgan-Smith gave York a dream start, converting Jon Parkin’s cross from close range to make it 1-0 after just seven minutes, before Morgan Ferrier levelled for the hosts 21 minutes later.
Parkin hit the bar as York made a strong start to the second half, but Anthony Jeffreys also went close for the hosts as he saw an effort hit the post with 15 minutes remaining.
The draw stretches York’s unbeaten run to five games, but they remain second-bottom and three points off safety.
