TEENAGE Leeds sensation Nile Wilson has helped England bag gold in the men’s gymnastics team final at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

Wilson, just 18, helped England see off Scotland alongside English team-mates Louis Smith, Sam Oldham, Kristian Thomas and Max Whitlock.

Pudsey-based Wilson and company helped England score 266.804 over the two days of competition with Dan Keatings, Dan Purvis, Frank Baines, Adam Cox and Liam Davie seeing Scotland to silver with 257.603.

It is the first time since 2002 that England have won the team competition.

Wilson Tweeted: “That was Unreal!! Loved every second of it.”
