Video: Harlem Globetrotters drop in at Sheffield primary school

HOT-SHOT stars from the Harlem Globetrotters basketball team gave a masterclass to pupils in Sheffield today.

New York-based Blenda Rodriguez and Flip Atkins gave a demonstration of finger-spinning ball tricks, games and skills to pupils at Gleadless Primary School.

Atkins said: “It’s important for us is to visit schools around the world, making children laugh and giving them lessons for life.”

Teacher David Atkinson said: “I remember growing up watching the Harlem Globetrotters. It was amazing to see today’s stars in our school. They were wonderful.”
