Attwood's points haul for Siddal fails to trouble leaders
Siddal missed out on the chance of upsetting National Conference League leaders Leigh East when beaten 28-14 by the pace-setters
A try and three conversions from full-back Brad Attwood and a touchdown for Scott Caley, kept the game close until the final three minutes, but East were always in control to maintain their one-point advantage at the top of the tree as Siddal dipped to fourth.
Skirlaugh ended a three-match streak without a win, when seeing off fourth-placed Wath Brow Hornets 26-18, with Steve Smith getting the late clinching try in that one as Jordan Precious kicked five goals.
