Get your bids in for the festive charity auction
The Yorkshire branch of the Christian charity Farm Crisis Network runs a 'silent auction' as a Christmas fund-raiser and one of the lots up for bids this year is a set of brassieres, donated by Amplebosom.com, which is run by Sally Robinson from near Helmsley.
Among the other packages on offer are: an afternoon riding llamas in the hills above Pateley Bridge. Half a day's coaching in making a walking stick, with Ron Parker of Nidderdale.
Christmas hampers from Anna's Happy Trotters of Howden, the Farmers' Cart shop at York and Debbie & Andrew's Sausages.
A family portrait session with Hot Coffee Photography of Driffield. A year's supply of potatoes from Driffield Farmers Market. A family ticket for Mother Goose at the Mart Theatre, Skipton. Landrover driving and shooting at The Coniston Hotel. A day out with the Bedale Hunt or the York & Ainsty.
Closing date for bids is December 1. For the full brochure and details of how to bid, see www.farmcrisisnetwork.co.uk/Yorkshire or call Helen Benson on 01677 470294 or email helenmjbenson@hotmail.com
