Cooke may be young but to Hull fans it feels like he's been around forever - and that's perfectly fine by them. The versatile loose forward-cum-pivot has the brains to match his point-scoring ability, as evidenced by the match-winning drop goal that silenced St Helens at Knowsley Road last term. As for the points, he got 194 in 2006 alone. Overlooked so far by the GB selectors but he will be hoping to change their minds in 2007. Will start the campaign sidelined because of knee injury.
