Another youngster with a promising past and bright future. Scruton broke into the first team in 2002 aged just 17 but then suffered two major injuries - a broken leg and wrist - and missed all of 2003. A three-month loan-spell at Hull FC later, Scruton showed he was back towards his best and his dangerous off-loading and strong running style have now become his trademark. On the fringes last term but with England Academy, England A and England all utilising his ability at some point, he is unlikely to stay on the bench for much longer.
