Lee, who faced a grade B
offence of a shoulder charge arising from Sunday’s 38-18 win at Hull KR, submitted an early-guilty plea and received a one-match ban.

However, the Red Devils will have the services of winger Josh Griffin and second-row Matty Ashurst for the visit of the Rhinos after both avoided suspension after admitting grade A offences committed in the same match.

Hull KR players Travis Burns and Adam Walker also submitted early-guilty pleas to charges of punching and will be free to face London Broncos on Saturday.

St Helens prop Joe Greenwood has signed a three-year contract extension that will keep him at Langtree Park until the end of 2017. The 21-year-old former Saddleworth Rangers player has made 29 appearances for Saints since making his debut in 2012.

“This is great news for both the club and Joe,” said coach Nathan Brown.

“He is a one of a host of younger players who have had a reasonable amount of experience over the past few years and have done well.”
