The draw produced two Yorkshire derbies. Wakefield Trinity will travel to their dual-registration partner club Dewsbury Rams, of the Championship, where they are considering ground-sharing next season.

At least one Championship club will be through to the quarter-finals after Featherstone Rovers were drawn at home to Halifax.

Leeds Rhinos, winners in 2014 and 2015, will face League One opposition for the second successive round, with Barrow Raiders visiting Headingley in the first meeting between the clubs since 1993.

Championship leaders Hull KR’s reward for eliminating Super League side Leigh Centurions in the previous round is a trip to another top-flight club Salford Red Devils.
