“We completed at close to 100 per cent in the first half in tough conditions so I was really happy with that,” said head coach Tim Sheens.

“We didn’t really take advantage of that in the second half but it gives us things to work on.

“You are never happy as a coach, there’s always something to work on and we’ve got some things to work on this week.

“We kept our try line intact for the day which we haven’t done here for a while I believe, but we’re not kidding ourselves and we know we need to be better.

“It’s not about running along in the Championship winning games, it’s about where we are down the track when we play Super League teams.

“We won’t beat Super League teams playing like we did in the second half, we might have in the first half but not the second.”
