Falloon, 28, met his new teammates today, on the first morning of pre-season training and the nippy hooker is set to make his debut in the Boxing Day game against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at Headingley.

“I am here to contribute, play my game and hopefully learn off the boys and bring my skills as well,,” said Falloon, who is on a one-year contract.

“I just want to contribute. They play a lot more footy over here [in Super League] I think.

“The NRL is really structured, but I know Leeds play a bit more with their offloads and players who can contribute out wide.

“I am really looking forward to playing with the forwards we’ve got here. It is really exciting for myself.”

Falloon said playing in England has always been a personal goal.

“Ever since I was a young fella I used to watch Super League and always thought how would it be to have a run,” he added.

“I’m finally over here now, so I will soon find out how it is. I am thankful to the club for giving me an opportunity.

“This club is amazing with so much history, so many good players and such good coaching staff and great fans.

“Everyone talks about the fans at Headingley and it will be a great honour to run out and play in front of them all.”

The first challenge for the former Gold Coast Titans rake will be coming to terms with a massive drop in temperature.

“It has been good,” Falloon said of his first few days in Leeds.

“We flew in on Friday night, me and my partner.

“On the way to Leeds it started snowing, so that was a good first up experience for us. I’ve seen snow before, but my partner hadn’t. She was pretty excited about it.

“It’s 30 degrees on the Gold Coast, so It’s a bit different, but I am really looking forward to it.”
