Dewsbury Rams have signed Wakefield Trinity Wildcats hooker/half-back Matty Wildie on a 12-month deal for 2015.

The 23-year-old has made 36 Super League appearances for Wakefield since making his debut for them in 2010.

Dewsbury coach Glenn Morrison, a former team-mate at Belle Vue, said: “Matty is a great signing for the club.

“He really adds to our options at hooker and half-back and I’m confident he is a player who can take us forward next season.”

Hunslet Hawks are without Liam Hood (broken hand) and Danny Grimshaw (potential ruptured bicep) for tonight’s Kingstone Press Championship One match at London Skolars.

Hawks coach Barry Eaton said: “I’ve been involved with this fixture when I was at Keighley, and that experience tells me it will be very, very difficult on Friday. London have had a bit of an upturn in fortunes in the last few weeks.”
