Leeds sign former Lions hooker Titterrell
LEEDS CARNEGIE have bolstered their pack with the loan signing of former British and Irish Lion Andy Titterrell.
Titterrell, who spent six seasons at Sale, joins on a three-month loan deal after being released by Gloucester in the summer.
Titterrell won five caps for England and was a member of the Lions team that toured New Zealand in 2005.
The hooker joins with Leeds bottom of the Guinness Premiership following Saturday's 39-6 defeat to Leicester at Welford Road.
Vili Ma'asi is the club's only fit No 2 with Rob Rawlinson and Scott Freer both injured.
