HAVING reached the halfway point of the Greene King IPA Championship campaign, it’s all looking rather rosy for Yorkshire’s three contenders in the English game’s second tier.
Perhaps somewhat surprisingly, Doncaster Knights are the leading White Rose representative, sitting four points adrift of leaders Bristol, with county rivals Yorkshire Carnegie sat a further five points back in third spot.
Rotherham Titans are currently off the pace slightly, sitting seventh in the table, five points adrift of fourth-placed Bedford Blues - sitting in that last play-off place.
As the teams take a weekend off from the league to contest their latest British & Irish Cup encounters, Dave Craven - one of The Yorkshire Post’s union writers - joins SportsTalk host Phil Harrison to discuss the merits of all three Yorkshire clubs hoping to make it through to the end-of-season play-offs.
Could all three of our clubs make it to the post-season?
