Wharfedale make it four wins in a row

Wharfedale weathered a sustained period of Tynedale pressure to win 34-14 at home.

Tries from Dan Solomi and Josh Burridge made it 10-0 after 25 minutes. Jamie Guy missed both conversions but added a penalty before the break.

Tynedale started the second half strongly and were awarded a penalty try, Matthew Outson converting.

Dale responded and James Doherty sent Lloyd Davies through and Guy added the extras. Wharfedale stretched the lead to 27-7 with another converted try from Cameron Hudson.

A solo effort from Jack Harrison, which was converted by Outson, gave Tynedale some hope of getting a bonus point.

Dale finished the stronger, adding a fifth try when Tom Davidson bludgeoned his way over wide out and Guy struck an excellent conversion.
