Huddersfield's Eorl Crabtree has ended speculation over his future by signing a new three-year contract which will keep him at the Galpharm Stadium until the end of the 2010 season.
The 6ft 5in, 18st prop forward was out of contract at the end of the season and had been linked with moves to Warrington and Bradford.

"I love this club so why would I want to leave?" he said. "I'm flattered when I'm linked with other clubs but that's as far as it goes.

"I know it's going to get even bigger and better here in the years ahead and I'm delighted I'm going to be a part of it. The camaraderie is brilliant."

The 24-year-old Huddersfield-born Crabtree is an ever-present this year for the Giants and has played a key role in their record seven-match winning run that has lifted them to fourth place in the engage Super League.
