AN EAST Yorkshire businessman has posted his own CCTV on internet video website YouTube in a bid to identify thieves who've made off with thousands of pounds worth of stock.
Paul Rymer, from Hull, acted after his business was hit three times and Humberside Police told him their investigations had stalled.

One of the videos shows a thief springing over a shop counter, snatching four laptops and handing them over to a waiting youth in a hoodie. Another shows a Mercedes Sprinter van with a distinctive dent.

The videos have already had hundreds of hits - and there's even been one suggestion for the name of the thief.

Mr Rymer, whose business is called peckhams.com, said: "We've given police the video footage from the CCTV, but they said the pictures were inconclusive and they couldn't make out exactly who it is.

"They said there's nothing more they can do so we decided to put them on the Internet."

Full story in Wednesday's Yorkshire Post.
