Sit back and enjoy stunning aerial video of the Dales and beyond, taken from the cockpit of an RAF Tucano aircraft.
For the first of an exclusive online series, YP videographer Jonathan Walton flew from Brimham Rocks in Nidderdale to the beloved tourist spot of Malham Cove.

His route took in Bolton Abbey, the River Wharfe at Burnsall Bridge, Hawes, Dent, the Ribblehead Viaduct, the peaks of Ingleborough and Penyghent, and finally Malham.

The footage was taken from a Tucano based at RAF Linton-on-Ouse, piloted by Squadron Leader Jack Christen of 207 Sqn.

RAF Linton-on-Ouse trains fast jet crews for the Air Force and Navy, but instructors are allocated an hour's free solo flying each month to keep their skills at a peak. The YP's footage was shot on one such flight.

Sqn Ldr Christen said. "On a staff continuation flight there's always a spare seat, so often we take our ground crew for a taste of the high life."

Our series also features airborne footage of the North York Moors.

You can see more beautiful Yorkshire footage - from ground level - of Whitby, Goathland and Staithes.
