Pantomime legend Berwick Kaler will make a return to the stage this Christmas at York Theatre Royal of Aladdin and the Twankeys.
Britain’s longest-serving Dame will also be appearing as the much loved Widow Twankey, a character, alongside Mother Goose, he considers being one of the best panto dame roles there is to play.
Mr Kaler’s career has seen him perform in 41 pantomimes - 35 at York Theatre Royal.
Aladdin and the Twankeys takes place from December 12 to February 1.
