Visitors and residents took part in the first Whitby Steampunk Weekend festival with a series of events at Whitby Pavilion.
Steampunk is a subgenre of science fiction or science fantasy which harks back to the fashions and technology of the Victorian era.
The event featured 70 colourful and market stalls offering artisan and bespoke steampunk, alternative and gothic products.
