Avacta’s praise for advisory service help
The Leeds University spin-out company, which has a manufacturing base at Thorp Arch, Wetherby, received help from the organisation to manufacture and sell its bench top laboratory analyser, Optim, which is used by the bio-pharmaceutical industry to accelerate the development of new drugs.
MAS Yorkshire & Humber also helped Avacta to develop and manufacture its second product for the veterinary diagnostics market, the AX-1, which offers point-of-care blood tests for vets to carry out in their clinics.
