Man arrested on suspicion of attempted child abduction in Snaith, East Yorkshire
The 11-year-old boy was walking in a field close to Pontefract Road in Snaith, on Monday when a man is alleged to have followed him and tried to grab him twice.The boy was unharmed as he ran home, but shaken by the incident.
Humberside Police have confirmed a man has now been arrested.

Hide AdDetective Inspector Andy Crawforth said: “I want to reassure those in the local area that our teams are continuing to patrol and we have also undertaken door to door and CCTV enquiries.
“I want to thank those who have come forward to assist with our investigation.”
"The man remains in our custody whilst our investigation is ongoing.
