Hide AdInvestigating officer Detective Constable Christopher Blincow said: “This woman has been exceptionally brave in coming forward to tell of her awful ordeal at Solomon’s hands.
“After a number of hours trapped in his apartment, Solomon fell asleep and his victim was able to flee and phone police. When officers arrived, she was hysterical and terrified.
“Domestic abuse in any form is despicable and we will not tolerate any individual seeking to harm, intimidate or control another person.
“I hope this result offers some comfort to Solomon’s victim, who can hopefully now begin to put this nasty incident behind her.”
