Medieval day on battle anniversary
Visitors to the castle on September 19 will be able to witness a theatrical display based on the battle there and birds of prey will swoop above as part of a falconry display.
For those who like to get involved, there will be the chance to prove throwing skills in a game of quoits – a medieval version of hoopla, or engage in a tournament of battledore – a historical form of badminton.
